The governing principles for CACE members are set out in the Professional Standards and Ethics Code. All members are expected to adhere to a high professional standard. With this in mind, CACE reviews its professional standards on a regular basis.

The Certificate of Chartered Association of Continuing Education remains the property of the Association and shall be returned on demand. A member may withdraw from the Association at any time by writing to the Association's Board of Directors of the Association and returning the Certificate of Chartered Association of Continuing Education.
