The Chartered Association of Continuing Education (CACE) is a not-for-profit accreditation and professional association incorporated in Ontario, Canada, under the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010. CACE works to advance standards, quality and accreditation in lifelong learning and continuing education.

Continuing education programmes are developed and delivered by CACE’s corporate members. Corporate participation is available through two categories: Institution Member and Accredited Member. CACE develops assessment tools and guidelines to review, audit, accredit and certify eligible courses created by institutional members against its quality standards.

CACE also administers individual professional membership grades for people who support and promote continuing education. These affiliation and recognition grades comprise Graduateship (GCCE), Membership (MCCE) and Fellowship (FCCE), which recognise different levels of professional development and experience.

To support its objectives, CACE publishes research, newsletters and educational resources. It also organises international conferences, networking events and collaborative forums where members can exchange knowledge, share practices and improve their lifelong learning programmes.
